Kaleidoscope of Emotions

2022
Moving Image, Installation

Kaleidoscope of Emotions is a participative audio-visual experience of 10-minute loops. Created with Singaporean composer Kin Leonn, the 6 x 6m installation cube invites visitors to lie down and journey through pre-determined changes of colours and frequencies. Over 10,000 audiences interacted with it across 10 days of Singapore Art Week (2022) – some hypnotically, others aesthetically or in a contemplative manner.

Working closely with Happy House’s curators Tulika Ahuja (Mama Magnet) and the late Eileen Chan (The Council), it conveyed that “happiness is an inside job”. In February 2023, the piece was acquired by Arkive for long-term residency at a prominent public location.
